Stop here if you don't like gross pictures!

So my surgery went well. The doctors and nurses were great and with Peter's mom here things have gone really well. I am in alot of pain, but nothing a little hydroco can't fix!

Most of the pain is pressure inside the ear canal, and then the rest of the pain is from the inscission behind my ear. Yes they pretty much removed my entire ear so that they could access my ear and then re-attached it. It is still swollen and sticks out quiet a bit, but will hopefully start to look more normal with time. They also shaved the hair so it looks even worse!
The more gruesome pics still need to be scanned in, so when I am feeling a little more upto it, I will get those in!

Well my energy level is low so I should go climb back into bed.
Oh...one last thing,as well as a big thank you to Ruth, Peter's mom, she has been a huge help and we really appreciate her coming all the way from CA to help, we also wanted to thank Rachel for taking care of Ethan for the day. He kept going like the little energizer bunny that he is all day and finally crashed at their dinner table! I also wanted to thank Laura for bringing over a yummy snack from Katies Custard! It made all the pain go away while it lasted!!

Hydroco is starting to kick in, gotta run!

Oma's visit!

On Saturday Peter's mom arrived in Dallas. She is visiting us while I undergo my ear surgery to help out with the children! We are really grateful and appreciate her being here! I already started snapping pictures of her and the kiddies!

NEWS FLASH!

Chloe will be 4 months on Sunday and today she rolled over on her own for the first time! She can roll both ways, but once on her tummy she gets rather frustrated and curls up onto her knees and elbows! I of course missed the first roll, but Peter said she did great!

5 Obsessions!

I made the mistake of reading Karin's blog this morning, so now I have to follow through with her obsession tag! So here goes...oh and for those of you who read this, you are also tagged!

1. My weight: hands down I drive myself bananas about my weight. Nursing does nothing for me, so I continue to be a big blob! I am trying to eat better(less cookies and junk), but something about nursing makes me crave sweet stuff and about 6 glasses of chocolate milk each day!

2. My Family: Peter, Chloe and Ethan are my everything! My life revolves around them. Being a stay-at-home mom gives me the opportunity to care for them 24 hours a day! Some days I am exhausted, but hugs and loves and kisses makes Mama all better!

3. Making dinner: May sound crazy, but at the moment I am obsessed with making something different every week for dinner and trying to keep it healthy.

4. My house: I am obsessed with cleaning! A trait I developed from my mother! I try to keep my house tidy at all times, however Ethan and Peter tend to undo my attempts!

5. Blogging: I love to read what my friends around the world are up to on a daily basis. Keeps me amused and helps me to feel like I am still apart of their lives! Also helps me to share my life with my family and friends!

The weather has turned loopy!

On Sunday it was snowing, yesturday it was a warm 80 degrees F and today it is cool and overcast. Mother nature has lost her mind! Other than the weather we are all doing great. The children and I had the sniffles this week, but we seem to be approaching the end! This morning Ethan did the cutest thing. He is really helpful with Chloe. He likes to help throw out diapers, he loves taking baths with Chloe and if she is crying he will dance or sing, shake her rattle or give her her pacifyer. This morning while I was checking my email I noticed Chloe was squeeling and then she went very quiet. I went to check on her as she was lying on a blanket in the tv room. This is what I found:

He had taken his blanket from his bed, laid down on the blanket next to his sister, and covered them both.

Of course the tv was on and he was watching his favorite show, Diego, but he was singing along with the show and Chloe was loving it! What a sweet big brother!

Easter Crafts

Today Ethan Chloe and I went to the library for story time. At the end, "Mr Nibbles", the sock puppet, handed out little Easter crafts. Mr Nibbles forgot to put instructions in the bag of goodies, so we figured this is what we were supposed to do!

Ethan and Daddy almost done...

The finished product

I wanted to publicly thank my wonderful husband for taking the time to do this craft with us even though he is sleep deprived and will be for another week or so longer. Thanks honey, We love you!

Almost 4 months!

Since our almost encounter with a tornado, nothing much else has been going on here in our household! Our pool resembles a swamp so we are working on getting that back to blue before the summer gets here. I finally bought a double stroller, I was worried I would buy one I didn't like. I don't think you can like a double stroller, no matter how nice it may be. With Ethan and Chloe in there, the thing weighs a ton! We have made a trip to Poage park. I was sweating buckets by the time we got home. We happen to live on one of the few hills here in Mclennan county! I was snapping some pictures yesterday and managed to get some real cute ones of Chloe. Ethan doesn't seem to like to have his picture taken!!(takes after his mother) Chloe's latest thing is squealing. Luckily she only does it usually when she is tired, hungry or really happy, ok so that's like all the time except for when she's asleep!

Little Miss Happy!
