Incoming!!!

A couple hours ago our family was huddled together in the bathroom awaiting an eminent tornado touchdown. Luckily we only experienced severe thunderstorms, hail and all that good heavy rain that comes with it! Now when I say our family, I mean EVERYONE!!

Professional pictures

We finally got round to taking Chloe for pictures. Can't believe she is already almost 4 months and we haven't had any taken! She did really good but finally tired out and only smiled with her hand in her mouth and then she stopped smiling all together so we decided to call it a day!

Started Chloes' Nursery

Well I finally got started on Chloes' room. Peter scraped the ceiling to get all the popcorn ceiling stuff off. I painted and we decided to leave the walls alone and have a murial painted on them instead, which still needs to be done. I have to also get a few more niky-naky stuff to decorate with and then we should be about done! I am enjoying having her in her own crib to sleep, but it gets a little tiring walking all the way down the hallway at 2,4 and 6am to nurse her! Can't wait for her to start sleeping longer in between each feeding!

Had to post this one!

Just had to post these!

I finally got hold of these hospital pictures of Chloe. I don't know what they did to her that she pulled such a funny face, but I thought she looked so angelic in the one of her sleeping that I just had to post them. She is now 3 months and 3 days old today. WOW how time flies!!

Off to Dallas we go

On Thursday I had my ear doctor appointment in Dallas so we decided to make a day of it. We started out early in the morning at 6am. First on the agenda was of course the doctor. Unfortunately surgery is the only option so I will be doing that in April. The good news is that there is no nerve damage and I won't suffer any more hearing loss. After the doctor we decided to visit the Dallas Temple. We had Chloe and Ethan with us so we couldn't go in, but we admired the beautiful building and exquisite gardens just filled with tulips! As you can see Teddy came too!

After the Temple it was lunch time and then we headed over to the zoo. We had forgotten that it was spring break as we don't have any school-aged children yet, so you can just imagine how crazy the zoo was. We had a great time and just enjoyed being out in the warm sunshine! By the time we left the zoo it was 5pm so we started in the direction of home, stopped for some dinner at Cheddars and then finally arrived home. We had a great time.(minus the doctor!)

Napping under my desk!

We have no idea what Ethan was doing under his desk, but he was there long enough and he was tired enough to fall asleep there! When Peter went to wake him up he called me to come and look for myself. This is how I found him.

Almost 3 months old

Just wanted to post some recent pictures of Chloe. She has graduated to her exer-saucer with the assistance of a blanket to help keep her propped forward! She loves it when Ethan drives his car infront of her. He pretends her saucer is a racing track!

Cameron Park Zoo

<

Ethan's buddy Blake spent the morning with us so we decided to take a trip to the zoo! The boys had a great time. They played hard and by the time we left the zoo and made it out onto the main road, they were both asleep!

Ride the slide!

I'm a Baby too!

So I was busy painting this afternoon while Chloe and Peter were snoozing. Ethan was in the living room playing with his cars enacting the movie "Cars". He went quiet for a few minutes so I decided I should probably go and check on him. So I looked just about everywhere and then decided to call him.

He answered me but very faintly, "Mama, I'm in here, I'm a baby." So I followed his voice and this is what I found:

He had managed to squeeze himself into Chloe's car seat and was pretending to be a baby!

11 Weeks already!

Chloe is just growing by the day and is just the sweetest baby. She is so patient and so easy to entertain which has been a huge plus with Ethan. Having just gone through potty training he needed alot of mommy time! When she wakes from a nap she is usually ready to smile and almost to a giggle. She loves to watch her brother, especially when he dances around in nude singing follow the prophet! I guess she takes her cue from my laughter! Anyways thought you might enjoy the latest pictures that I took of her today.
