How quickly they grow!

This morning I was taken back at how much my children have grown and how wonderful routines can be! Ethan woke this morning and this is what he proceeded to do:
-He took off his pull up and threw it in the trash.
-Took off his jammies and put them in his hamper.
-Picked out some clothes from his dresser and got dressed
-Pulled the covers up on his bed and stacked his "Teddies" on his bookshelf
-Put his slippers on and found a pair of sandals that weren't in the right place so he went and put them in the shoe holder in his closet.
-Came into the kitchen and gave morning hugs to Chloe and I.
-Asked for a cup of chocolate milk and went and turned on one of his favorite shows "Little Einstein's" and made himself comfy on the couch.
I just sat watching him go about his morning routine in awe!! Now if only he could teach his daddy a few of things!! Well the Little Einsteins just blasted off so I should probably get going too! I might need a little more than some knee patting to get me going!!!

IT'S OFFICIAL!!
WE ARE GOING TO SOUTH AFRICA!!!
I can finally say our tickets are booked and paid for!! I will be leaving with Ethan and Chloe on August 4th and we will arrive in SA on the 5th. Enjoy visiting with my Family and Friends and then Peter will join us on September 3rd and we will all fly home together on the 15th. Yes I get to skip a Texas summer this year!!(nah nah!!)
Ethan loves to read!
Lately I noticed I have blogged several times about Chloe and somehow forgot to mention Ethan's latest news!! Ethan is an extremely energetic little boy(I call him my energizer bunny) and he loves to do several things namely: play with his train set, read the books he chooses at the library, play with his puzzles which he has really gotten good at and if given the opportunity he can watch endless episodes of TV!!
He also is a wonderful big brother and can keep his sister happy and smiley!!

Sitting up!
Chloe is growing so quickly, it just seems like yesturday she was a newborn! She will be 6 months on the 15th of June! She is really into sitting up one her own and has being doing really well so far. She is also rolling like crazy around the room! The other day I put her down on her blanket with a bunch of toys only to come find her from the shoulders down with her body under the couch. She wasn't crying or anything, just making her regular squeely noises letting me know somethings up!
